Bye Bye Soda Hello Water

Well, is been a bit without writing. I think it is just about time to share some good and bad news.

As most of people do at the beginning of a year, I put my hope in the loosing weight wagon…

Though I had not being really good at it. There is hope at the end of the tunnel. I was able to keep up on 1-good quitting habit that it has really help me loose more than a few pounds, but not literally. Pound, I have not lost much, but leaving soda is returning my energy.

The biggest question for many people is how are you doing it?!

I don’t know about YOU!? but I read a bunch! and I loved a post that said that instead of saying I am trying to leave the soda when you are asked, or responding with I can’t drink sodas; we should respond, no thanks, I only drink water. Place it upon yourself that you already don’t drink it, don’t fall into conversations with someone that try to tell you that an occasional glass will be ok, because you are not doubting your decision, you answer like that is what you want!

Now, with leaving the soda, I know is not enough to lose some pounds, but at least is one less battle.

I had never been a crazy soda person, so that probably helped; but my other problem is water. I have to increase my water intake BIG TIME!!!

I have also read about sticking to good habits, where a lady says that she help herself introduce yoga in her habits by piggy back riding on her morning coffee habit! Will add the link when I find it! wish I save the post. She explained that her coffee habit is so strong that she used it to force herself to do yoga. She does yoga, before she finally drinks her coffee!

So what is the new habit?! is water. I am forcing myself to drink the water before I get the coffee.

and through out the day as well. It is harder through out the day, but is getting better.

So my friends! keep wishing me luck. Because I really, really need to loose some pounds. My next step is added sugar, I will eat bread, I will eat carbs, a bit more controlled; but I will get away from added sugar starting May 1st! and I want to continue to keep up with water and I want to add a 15-minute walk a day! (I have to start some way)

Bye Bye Sugar, will try Sugar again on June 20th of 2021 Almost two months! lets see how that work!
