With the hope you, the reader, finds JOY when cooking

Hi, I am Freyka, hopefully you can pronounce that, if you don’t, not worries, not even my grandma was able to pronounce my name right!

I Love cooking, sharing recipes and cooking tips; and with that in mind my profession/career chose me and I chose her. The kitchen and cooking are in a weird sort of way my best friends, they have always been there for me, when I am happy, or when I am sad. If I am upset about something, I clear my head while cooking in the same way that we will call someone to voice our inner madness. The kitchen is, it has been and it will always be my safe place.

I am the 5th little piggy of my mama. I am a mother of 3 and a grandma to almost 2 grand-kids. I want to think that I am also a good wife, but that is not for me to assure, but i think +25 years can say something, we love each other and accept our oops.

While I am not native to Utah, I really love that we moved here. I am native to Peru, and live there until I was 21, when we move to Utah with my husband and my 2 girls (6 and 4 years old).

I will skip until this last years, but with time and in the lines of the blog posts you will find my kitchen adventures, and my life story, because this blog is dedicated to my kids, to give them a chance to get me know me better.

I work at a grocery store, but it is not an ordinary grocery,
